Congratulations
on considering to attend The Pure Talent Agency's School
of Dance! The Feature Class you are interested in attending
is TBA 2008. We want you to attend
and have a wonderful week, so please take a minute to carefully
read this letter. It outlines everything you need to know
to make a decision to attend the class and make it a success.
This
is a complete learning course designed to teach and educate
Feature dancing and all aspects pertaining to the success
of an entertainer. We will teach you everything from A to
Z about this industry. This includes learning how to dance
from a professional dance instructor and perform Feature
style shows from a respected current Feature entertainer.
You
will learn stage presence, costuming and music selection,
hair and makeup techniques, conversation guidelines, establishing
credits, photo shoots, marketing and so much more! All of
these qualities in you are directly related to your income
potential.
Not
only will you have excellent dance instruction, but you
will also spend time learning important, detailed information
about what club owners expect from you, what your agent
expects from you, legal issues, safety on the road and longevity
in a short lived business.
Classes
run Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. We have
chosen an independent dance studio located in Clearwater,
FL for the dance portion of the class and at a conference
room in Clearwater, FL for the course lecture. Here we study
a detailed curriculum and have a question and answer session.
This part of the class is incredibly informative. We also
have a professional hair and makeup company come in to go
over the newest and latest techniques for you. We are confident
you will learn more here in one week then you would over
a few years in this business on your own.
You
must be 18 years of age and bring a valid driver's license
or photo I. D. with you for proof of age or you will not
be allowed to participate in the school.
Although
class does not start until Monday, it is recommended that
you arrive the night before. We suggest you get a good nights
sleep and have a fresh start on your first day. It is imperative
that you arrive at the Pure Talent office promptly at 11:00am
everyday. If you are late for class you will miss valuable
information.
We
would like to know in advance your hotel accommodations,
your flight itinerary and the type of transportation you
have set up. You must fill out the form attached to the
hotel information sheet and have it returned via mail or
fax within 14 days of arrival. If you are not driving in,
it is recommended that you rent a car.
For
those out of town girls, we have discount hotel rates available
when you sign up for the class.
It is Summer time in Florida, which means Hot days and Warm
nights. The daytime temperatures are in the high 90's. At
night the temperatures in the low 70's or lower. Be sure
to bring the proper type of clothing for this weather.
Following
are some tips on what you can do to increase your learning
potential. The most important thing is for you to be comfortable
both in the dance studio and during lecture. You should
wear clothes you can move in such as shorts and t-shirts
or stretchy pants and Lycra tops. Bring a pair of tennis
shoes as well as a pair of high heels. Platform shoes are
not recommended, but do bring them if that is what you are
comfortable wearing. If you have never danced before, you
may want to stick with smaller heels of around three inches.
If your shoes are new, wear them around the house so they
are broken in before class.
If
you do have any costumes please bring them so we can show
you the best way to work with them. We also supply several
Feature costumes for your use during class if you don't
have any. Music will be provided for all classes, but we
encourage you to bring your own if you like a certain style.
Also bring your own under pieces such as a bra's and t-back's,
stockings and garter belt. Since we are teaching you the
art of striptease, we need you to have clothes to practice
stripping out of. It is not necessary for you to spend a
lot of money on these items. Just bring what you have or
what you can pick up at a inexpensive department store.
Aside
from the proper clothes, there are other items you will
want to bring as well. Have a notebook and a pen or pencil
with you. You will want to take a lot of notes this week!
In order to stay focused and full of energy, you may want
to have some energy snacks with you during class. There
are several stores in the area where you can get water,
juice, fresh fruits and vegetables and other nutritious
snacks. We do break for lunch everyday, however you might
want to keep something with you just in case you get hungry.
There
may be press from magazines, newspapers and television at
this class. We will have a model release form for you to
fill out the first day of class in order to be a part of
this.
The
model release will also allow you to be featured on the
Pure Talent Agency web site and marketing for our school
of dance. Not only is this great publicity for you, but
this is a chance for you to earn instant credits for your
career. If you do not want to sign a release and be part
of any publicity that is fine too. Anytime press would be
attending, you would be notified weeks before the class.
We realize not everyone wants the press in attendance and
only have it at classes where everyone is comfortable and
happy.

a friend and each receive the class for $500.00 (normally

1/2 class price deposit is required to hold your space in

What
is a Feature Entertainer?
A
Feature Entertainer is a special guest star hired by different
Gentlemen's
clubs to perform shows that go above and beyond the House
Dancer style of
entertainment. With elaborate costumes and props, Feature
Entertainers
perform a variety of 20 minute theme shows throughout their
booking. The Feature Entertainer has established credits
such as magazine layouts, showcase and contest
titles or adult films. The clubs goal is to bring in new
and more customers
to their establishment with the help of a Feature Entertainer.
What
is a House Dancer?
Without
House Dancers we wouldn't have Gentlemen's Clubs! House
Dancers are
hired to entertain customers during a shift of six to eight
hours. Normally
they perform for one to four songs at a time and are on
rotation with other
entertainers. Elaborate costuming and props are not used
by House Dancers
and credits are not required. They do not normally get paid
from the club;
they make their money form doing table dances, private dances
and lap dances
as well as sometimes selling cocktails. House Dancers normally
perform at
one club; however, some girls do travel and perform at various
clubs.

have a successful gentlemen’s club, you need to have
quality entertainers, nice comfortable décor, a friendly
staff and a good stage with a quality sound and lighting
system. But which one of these is the most important aspect
of bringing customers through your door? The answer is quality
entertainers. Take a minute and ask yourself a few important
questions:

• What are the salaries each year for your G. M. and
other employees?
